12:58 YES!!!! This part is my favorite scene and why I have eagerly awaited the new upload to the Mr. Z in Korea series weekly. Last week, I commented that Mr. Z isn't just intrigued by the flavors. He's also carefully tasting and deciphering the different ingredients and combinations that create the flavors and at the same time he's also processing what other combinations he can create with the ingredients and flavors. This is why he insisted on trying the ginseng extract and Achim Hetsal at the bar (Where Josh surprised him with a trip to Korea), suggested the caviar with the Gimbap and syringe injection of tteok-bokki sauce, added the kimchi and bossam to the broth (last week), and suggested the Soju mix with the naengmyeon in this vid. As a home cook and one who enjoys food and food flavors, I definitely try to do the same thing, but with Mr. Z being the caliber of chef that he is, I knew his flavor insights would be next level. It's a great series can't wait for next week.

This is so amazing to watch. Seeing a master class chef being so astounded by the quality of the food, and the being surprised by the flavours of meats he has tried thousands of times in his life, is just incredible. and on top of that, he still tries to experiment on his own, while trying these out. It shows his expertise, when he can just tell that the soup would work well together with the soju. And he is so excited to share his creations with the other chef as well. This might have been my favourite episode of the series so far.
I literally could not stop smiling ear to ear while watching. Seeing Josh have a food ecstasy is nothing new, but seeing Mr. Z showing such a pure, euphoric reaction just brings such joy. And let’s not understate just how much that also means this restaurant’s food was just god tier. I don’t know when I’ll ever visit Korea again, but this place has just became a bucket list restaurant.
It's going to be a legendary thing that they put on the menu. And they're going to have to tell the story about how this one time this world famous Italian chef just wanders in, randomly slapped it together, and it was amazing. 😂

It really puts into perspective how he’s not just an Italian snob. He is very critical of cheap American food, not because he’s judgmental, but because he is truly an expert of flavor.

I rarely eat pork, never liked it.. went to jeju and tried the black pig pork... I never had so much pork in my life. It was absolutely amazing. I can't even explain how delicious it was. Hopefully, I will go back one day.

i remember being in jeju on holiday, walking into a random kbbq restaurant and ordering black pork. it wasn't even a super fancy cut, just samgyepsal. it was the BEST pork i had in my life. amazing. been thinking about it ever since.
Such a shame it is only 15 mins, I could watch this for an hour and still enjoy Mr. Z's enthousiasme, his tasting and trying his own experiments based on his knowledge, Love this series!!!!!

👏👏This has got to be the best crescendo video ever of this series with chef Z so far! I love the way chef Z gives us his description of what he is tasting and my mouth is watering, Josh on the other hand is having his mind blown and Luke, you're a lucky man to be there as camera man! It would be nice to see Chef Z try some of that Korean Fried chicken others have claimed it makes them become emotional because it was that good, just like in those other videos, they made about it. I'm a pastry chef bit different but I can't help but smile when I watch Mr z light up trying this food because I 100% get it. Recently, I travelled Jeju island with my families and visited Sugseongdo in Jeju city twice during single trip. Amazing restaurant and literally it's one of best black pork place I've ever been. And this restaurant is already too famous to just drop by. You need to queue when they open for lunch or dinner. Have good trip Mr.Z and Koream Englishman team.

Playing "Pomp and Circumstance" once you could properly see the dry aging pork was absolutely brilliant. Playing perhaps the most British piece ever while seeing an eminently Korean thing is so "Korean Englishman". Beautiful.
Great to see Mr. Z exploring the similarity of Korean Pepper pastes to tomato. My wife has tomato sensitivity and we've found gochujang and ssamjang very helpful as a substitute. I loved his "Bloody Mary Soju"!

2주 전에 신혼여행 갔다가 숙성도에서 삼겹살 먹어봤는데 진짜 저 리액션이 진심이라는걸 알 수 있어요! 진짜 제 인생 넘버원 삼겹살이었어요! 36년 동안 먹어본 최고의 한 점이었어요!

What a fun adventure watching these Mr Z videos. It’s very engaging as if I’m there myself and it’s great having his insights and stuff while watching him genuinely enjoying himself, the food and the culture.
i love Mr Z is providing wider description of the meal than just saying "it's sooo good".
Every bite Luke takes makes him look almost concerned, due to how surprised and perplexed he is 😅😂 Truely seems like an overwhelming experience and something i'd love to experience!
It is just great to see you guys having the time of your life. I really enjoy that you let Luke and your coworkers try all that stuff you eat. Often I feel bad for them when they have to see you enjoy some of the greatest foods in the world 😂
Recently, I travelled Jeju island with my families and visited Sugseongdo in Jeju city twice during single trip. Amazing restaurant and literally it's one of best black pork place I've ever been.
And this restaurant is already too famous to just drop by. You need to queue when they open for lunch or dinner.

Great to see Mr. Z exploring the similarity of Korean Pepper pastes to tomato. My wife has tomato sensitivity and we've found gochujang and ssamjang very helpful as a substitute. I loved his "Bloody Mary Soju"!

I’m kinda surprised how expressive josh in these vids are, maybe because when he’s with someone else than mr. Z, he would feel the odd one out. But now, the fear melts, just like those pork in their mouth
Ever since I started watching this channel a bit ago, particularly with the excitement that everyone seems to show, I've been convinced that I could/should do a six month visa, learning the language and stuffing my face, and I'd sill lose a good third of my body weight.
